Maybe Hunter will only see the K'da move from the corner of his eye. A flash of golden scales, something the size of a tiger pouncing at him. Sudden, silent, swift. Whatever the case, no matter if he braces for impact, the "attacker" seems to vanish into nothing the moment it touches his bare skin, only a slight sense of pressure where it touches him, like someone leaning into him. And then even that is gone.

If he focuses on it, he might feel an odd sensation across his torso, like when you get paint on your skin. But it feels normal to the touch.
